SMILE Resource Exchange project

The SMILE Resource Exchange project is in the running to becoming one of the EU’s most innovative low-carbon initiatives as they compete in the European Commission’s “A World You Like With A Climate You Like” challenge. If you are not already familiar with SMILE, it is a resource efficiency initiative which aims to assist businesses to re-use each other’s materials, by-products and surplus ‘waste’ products in order to reduce waste going to landfill, to increase the life of resources through reuse and thus promoting more sustainable business practises.

Silver Angel shortlisted for David Manley Awards

I’m delighted to announce that Silver Angel Publishing has been shortlisted for the David Manley Emerging Entrepreneur Awards 2012. The David Manley Awards nurture the enterprising spirit in Business, the Arts and in the Social community and Silver Angel is one of three shortlisted companies in the Arts Category. All nine shortlisted entrants receive free mentoring from Enterprise Ireland and the overall winner will win mentoring and business advice valued at €100,000 plus a financial grant of €10,000 in cash.
